Ceramic Coating Care

Your coating needs time to cure, then a gentle wash routine to keep protecting your paint.

First 14 days · Curing

Immediately After Application

  • Do not wash the vehicle or let it get wet for 14 days — this is the curing period where the coating bonds to the paint.
  • Keep the car out of rain, sprinklers, and car washes during this time.
  • Avoid parking under trees — sap and bird droppings can damage the uncured coating.

Day 14 onward · Routine care

Ongoing Washing

  • Always use the two-bucket wash method — one for soapy water, one for rinsing your mitt.
  • Use a pH neutral car shampoo — never dish soap or harsh detergents.
  • Wash in the shade and never on a hot surface.
  • Use a microfiber wash mitt — never a sponge or brush on painted surfaces.
  • Rinse the car thoroughly before washing to remove loose dirt first.

Paint Protection Film Care

Give fresh film about a week to cure, then a gentle wash routine keeps it clear and protecting your paint for years.

First 7 days · Curing

Right After Installation

  • Don't wash the vehicle for about 7 days so the film can fully bond and any installation moisture clears.
  • Small water bubbles, haziness, or cloudiness under the film are normal while trapped moisture evaporates — never press on or try to pop them.
  • Avoid automatic brush car washes and high-pressure sprayers during this time, and don't pick at the film edges.

After curing · Routine care

Ongoing Washing

  • Hand wash with a pH neutral shampoo and a soft microfiber mitt — the two-bucket method is ideal.
  • Keep a high-pressure nozzle away from the film edges so you don't lift them.
  • Skip automatic brush washes and harsh solvents, and remove bird droppings, bug guts, and sap promptly.
  • Light scratches and swirls in the film self-heal with heat from the sun or warm water.

Window Tint Care

Fresh film needs a few days to cure. A little patience now keeps it clear and bubble-free for years.

First 3–5 days · Curing

Right After Tinting

  • Keep your windows rolled up for 3–5 days so the adhesive can fully bond — cold or humid weather can extend this.
  • Don't clean the inside of the glass during this time.
  • A slight haze, cloudiness, or small water pockets are normal while trapped moisture evaporates — never press on or try to pop them.

After curing · Routine care

Ongoing Cleaning

  • Clean the film with a soft microfiber cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner — ammonia breaks tint down and causes purpling.
  • Never use paper towels, abrasive pads, or scrapers on the film.
  • Remember the tint sits on the inside of the glass — be gentle loading cargo or pets near the windows.
